Samsung’s Next Flagship Smartwatch to Feature Titanium Body and Sapphire Glass

Samsung’s Galaxy smartwatches are often divided into three categories: Classic, Active, and Frontier. According to rumors, we will get a Pro model for the first time this year, and given its moniker, it may be the series’ most high-end model.

Thanks to a recent leak from Ice Universe, we now have more information about the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. The wearable will have a lightweight titanium chassis and scratch-resistant sapphire glass, according to the cat source. This isn’t the first time Samsung has used titanium in a watch, but it will be the first with sapphire glass.

According to prior reports, the Watch 5 Pro would feature a battery capacity of 572 mAh, which is higher than the previous model. It’s possible that the watch will be larger than previous models.

It’s unknown whether the 5th generation will have a Classic model, however numerous models have been sighted in leaks. Three models with the codenames “Heart S,” “Heart L,” and “Heart Pro” have been leaked. The Watch 5 and the Watch Pro are most likely two different sizes.

Other improvements will be available for the Pro model as well, but no specifics have been released as of yet. More information should be available in the following weeks. The new smartwatches are expected to debut alongside Samsung’s future foldables.
