Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Launched Again with Better Hardware

Samsung has secretly published an improved version of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, one of its older tablets (2020). The 2022 model includes an updated Android version as well as a newer chipset with increased CPU and GPU capabilities. The cost is nearly identical to that of the original.

Instead of Android 10, the new slate comes with Android 12 and a few years of promised updates. The 8nm Snapdragon 720G takes the place of the 10nm Exynos 9611, with the same memory configurations (4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB) as before.

Other features remain the same, including as the 10.4-inch LCD with 2,000 x 1,200 resolution and support for the S Pen. Because this is a TFT panel rather than an IPS panel, the viewing angles and colors are slightly less accurate.

On the rear, there is simply a single 8MP camera with 1080p video recording and a 5MP selfie camera. The battery has a capacity of 7040 mAh and can be charged at a rate of 15W. The speakers are AKG tuned and include Dolby Atmos capability, as well as a 3.5mm headphone connection and a microSD card slot.

The price has changed slightly from before. The starting price for the base model with 4GB/64GB memory is €400, which is €20 more than the original model from two years ago. Retail websites do not show the LTE version or the 128GB option, however this could be because stores are still updating their online inventory.
