Marvel Studios has just released the teaser for their upcoming superhero film Thor: Love and Thunder, which has left fans ecstatic. Here’s all you need to know about the upcoming Thor film, including its unique storyline, amazing soundtrack, and guest appearances by fan favorites.
The new Marvel teaser opens with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) talking about how his life is taking a different path than expected, set to Gun N’ Roses’ Sweet Child O’ Mine. The formerly war-mongering superhero expresses his desire to “figure out exactly who I am.” “These hands were previously employed for battle, now they’re simply modest tools for peace,” he says of his journey to self-discovery, which includes adopting a more calm and tranquil lifestyle.
We catch a glimpse of the superhero putting down his great hammer, indicating that he is truly trying to start again. What does this signify for Thor, the God of Thunder?
His “super hero days” appear to be ended, and the next leg of his adventure will begin in New Asgard.
Some fan favorites are also brought back in the trailer. We see Chris Pratt as Peter Quill and the bearded, potbellied Thor from the final part of the Marvel Avengers trilogy as the two superheroes share a funny moment. Valkyrie is also the new king of Asgard, and she does not appear pleased with her new position.
We have yet to see Matt Damon and Christian Bale in their respective roles, despite the fact that the upcoming Marvel film touted a star-studded cast to accompany Thor in his journey.
