Infinix Note 12 VIP is a Value Champion for $300

The Infinix Note 12 VIP is Infinix’s first 120W fast charging phone, but it’s not the only attraction here. The phone comes with flagship features and a high-resolution camera configuration, all at an affordable price.

Another Note 12 smartphone from the Chinese company has been launched for as little as $200.

Display and Design

The display is a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080p and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It also supports 10-bit color, which is often only seen on high-end screens. It boasts a 360Hz touch sampling rate that allows for low input delay and covers 100% of the DCI P3 color gamut. The fingerprint sensor is located on the phone’s side.

Storage and Internals

The main chipset is MediaTek’s 12nm Helio G96 SoC, which offers up to 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM that can be practically expanded by another 5GB for a total of 13GB. There is also a microSD card slot for additional storage.

On the software front, you get Android 12 with XOS 10.6 on top.

Cameras

A 108MP primary sensor (1/1.67″, 1.92m pixels after 9-in-1 pixel binning) with laser focusing and PDAF makes up the main camera system. A 13MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth sensor are included. This camera can capture 2K video clips at 30 frames per second and 1080p video clips at 60 frames per second. The selfie camera is a 16MP snapper that records 1080p video.

Pricing and the Battery

The Note 12 VIP has a 4,500 mAh battery with 120W fast charging capabilities, which can charge the phone to 100% in just 13 minutes. According to Infinix, up to 103 battery protection mechanisms have been incorporated to extend battery life and prevent overheating.

The Infinix Note 12 VIP is available for $300.
