Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to Feature a 200MP Camera [Leak]

In September of last year, Samsung launched the world’s first 200MP camera, but it has yet to appear on a smartphone. Early rumors stated that it will appear on the Galaxy S22 Ultra or a Xiaomi phone, but this was later proven to be untrue.

According to a fresh rumor from Korean media, Samsung has completed development of its 200MP camera sensor, which will debut with the Galaxy S23 Ultra next year. According to reports, Samsung’s camera division will design 70% of these camera sensors, while Samsung Electronics will manufacture the rest.

There isn’t much information available about Samsung’s new 200MP sensor, but since development is complete, we should hear more shortly.

We don’t know much about the Galaxy S23 Ultra either, as it won’t be released for another six months. However, as the Galaxy Note series was formally killed off with the introduction of the S Pen on the S22 Ultra, we may expect the same from its successor. Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship SoC, based on the same 4nm semiconductor technology as this year, will power it.
