How to Unlock a Jazz 4G Device

How to Unlock a Jazz 4G Phone

  • Connect your Jazz 4G device to a data cord and turn it on.
  • To install the drivers needed to unlock the 4G device, double-click the device icon on your computer or PC.
  • Make sure your antivirus software is turned off, as it may interfere with the installation.
  • In order to install the drivers, you may need to first download certain software.
  • Download the Flash File and drivers from the specified links. This is a necessary step before proceeding.
  • All of the files in the drivers should be extracted and run as administrators.
  • After you’ve ran all three files, keep your device turned on and don’t unplug it until the data has been copied.
  • You will be prompted to enter a password by the software. Put six asterisks in a row, for example, ******
  • Then you’ll be asked to enter a number. Input the IMEI number found on the back of your Jazz 4G.
  • Also, enter your port number. To enter your port number, type ‘Computer Device Manager’ into the search bar and select the Port option. Your device number can be found there.
  • To continue, press any key after you’ve input your port number.
  • Remove the battery from your gadget and unplug it.
  • Replace the battery in the gadget.
  • Long-press the WPS and power buttons at the same time for at least 5 seconds.
  • On your device, you’ll notice a blue light glowing. Connect it to your PC.
  • The gadget will begin writing the files on its own.
  • Your smartphone will be unlocked and ready to use SIM cards from any network once the file writing process is completed.

To change your Jazz 4G device’s name and Wi-Fi password, follow these steps:

  • Download and install the ‘Jazz Wi-Fi app’ on your device.
  • Open the app and pair your phone with your Jazz Wi-Fi device.
  • A menu bar can be found in the top left-hand corner. Select it by clicking on it.
  • Select ‘Settings’ from the drop-down menu and then ‘Wi-Fi settings.’
  • In the SSID option, change the name of your device to something more personal.
  • Change the password by clicking on the ‘Wi-Fi Key’ and entering a new one.
  • Click ‘Apply’ to save the changes.
